The Singer Non-Stick Foot, Slant Shank (#941290000) is a Teflon-coated zig-zag presser foot built for fabrics that grip, drag, or gum up a standard metal sole. Its slick coating lets leather, vinyl, PUL, PVC, oilcloth, laminated foam, and rubber feed smoothly and evenly -- no sticking, no puckering, no distortion along the seam. The non-stick surface also repels adhesive residue, so fusibles and temporary spray adhesives won't accumulate on the foot during applique. On napped materials like velvet and corduroy, the reduced friction keeps the pile from being crushed as the fabric advances.
