This transparent plastic slide plate fills the opening in front of the needle plate, shielding the bobbin compartment while keeping it fully visible through the clear material. The see-through cover lets you monitor bobbin fill level and thread path at a glance during sewing without lifting or sliding the plate out. It replaces a cracked, yellowed, or missing original cover and keeps the machine's bobbin area protected and the stitching surface smooth. One important note from the manufacturer: some models changed the style of cover plate they use across production years -- compare this plate to the opening in your needle plate before ordering to confirm the profile matches.
