Description

Gather fabric or attach a ruffle to a flat edge in the same pass. This snap-on foot is recommended for light- to medium-weight fabrics, with lighter fabric generally producing fuller gathers.

Source-recommended starting points are a straight stitch, left needle position and stitch length of 3–6; increasing upper-thread tension may produce fuller gathers. Check your machine's manual for suitable settings and test on a fabric scrap.

Compatible models appear across Husqvarna Viking Designer, Opal, Sapphire, Platinum, Emerald, Lily, Prelude, Prisma, Optima and Scandinavia families. Match your exact machine to the fitment list before ordering.

This compact gathering foot works through stitch settings and fabric feed. Do not confuse it with the larger mechanical ruffler attachment used for structured pleats.
