The Brother SA212 is a metal elastic taping foot for domestic overlock sergers, built to attach and sew elastic or twill tape in a single pass without pinning. A dedicated channel on the underside of the foot secures the elastic or tape against the fabric as the serger stitches, controlling feed rate so the elastic lays flat or gathers knit material evenly depending on how you set the adjustable pressure feeder. The foot handles elastic up to 1/2 inch (approximately 12mm) wide and works across metering, gathering, and shirring techniques -- making it especially useful for waistbands, cuffs, and activewear edges where consistent elastic application is the priority. The metal snap-on sole provides stable, wobble-free attachment during use. Instructions are included with the foot.
