Important gear and shaft check

For a 7mm shaft configuration, a specialist parts supplier specifies the separate drive gear #0040707000 together with hook gear #0040757000 during replacement. The 8mm-shaft drive gear #316.038.431 is a different reference. Confirm your original shaft size, gear arrangement and exactly which parts require replacement before ordering. Gear servicing and timing should be handled by a qualified sewing-machine technician. Disconnect the machine from power before servicing.
