What bobbins does the Brother XL-3510 use?
Brother SA156 bobbins (sold as SFB, XA5539-151, outside the US). Brother's guide warns that bobbins made for other models will not work properly in this machine.
What needles fit the Brother XL-3510?
Standard household HAX130 needles. Brother recommends sizes 75/11 to 90/14 for light and medium fabrics, 90/14 to 100/16 for heavy fabrics and for clear nylon thread.
Can I drop the feed dogs on the Brother XL-3510?
No. For darning and free-motion work you place the darning plate supplied with the machine over the feed dogs instead.
Which optional feet does Brother list for the XL-3510?
