How to fit it
1. Raise the needle to its highest position using the handwheel. 2. Remove the current presser foot from your machine's high-shank ankle (Baby Lock, Brother, Janome and Juki each have slightly different release mechanisms -- consult your manual). 3. Secure the #P60437 foot onto the high-shank ankle in the same manner as other presser feet for your machine. 4. Drop the feed dogs for free-motion stitching. 5. Select a needle appropriate for your thread type and test on a fabric scrap before beginning your quilting or embroidery project -- the spring tension should visibly depress and release with each needle cycle.

Can I use this on a low-shank sewing machine?
No. Part #P60437 is designed for HIGH-SHANK machines only. Attempting to fit it to a low-shank ankle will result in the wrong position and possible needle strike. If you have a low-shank machine, look for the low-shank version (#P60430 or similar).
Does this fit Baby Lock, Pfaff, Elna, Singer, or Viking machines?
Those brands are not in our verified 19-machine proven set for #P60437. Our confirmed fitment covers Brother, Janome and Juki high-shank machines only.
