Description

Use this spring-action darning foot for free-motion quilting, stippling, embroidery, thread painting, monograms and mending. The foot rises and lowers with the needle so you can move the fabric between stitches while it holds the fabric during stitch formation.

This is a screw-on foot for low-shank domestic sewing machines. It attaches at the presser bar rather than snapping onto a presser-foot holder. Lower or cover the feed dogs, select a straight stitch and guide the fabric by hand.

Sold as a non-branded replacement, this foot appears under #55417 and alternate #4021P. Retailer fitment includes low-shank machines from Baby Lock, Brother, Bernette, Janome/New Home, Kenmore, Pfaff, Singer, Simplicity, White and other brands.

Do not confuse it with a snap-on embroidery foot or with a high-shank or Singer slant-shank darning foot. Confirm that your machine uses a low-shank screw-on foot before ordering.
