Description

Add cord, yarn, ribbon, or braid directly to fabric while moving the work freely in any direction. The #43N guides the material through its sole to the needle for controlled decorative couching.

Use it with the feed dogs lowered, a center needle position, and a straight stitch. It accommodates decorative material up to 2 mm in diameter.

This foot fits compatible BERNINA 5.5 mm and 9 mm machines across the Activa, Virtuosa, Artista, Aurora, and B Series families. Check your exact machine against the compatibility list before ordering.

This is the cord-feeding Free-Motion Couching Foot #43N, not an ordinary darning, stippling, or free-motion quilting foot. Choose it when you want to stitch decorative cord or yarn onto the fabric surface.
