Description

Quarter inch right guide foot for PFAFF sewing machines with the IDT system, part number 820924-096. The guide sits exactly 1/4 inch from the needle, so keeping the fabric edge against it gives an accurate 1/4 inch seam when piecing.

Also gives an even 1/4 inch topstitch from the edge of a block when stitching the blocks, batting and backing together
Snap on the foot, engage the IDT system and select a straight stitch

How to fit it

1. Snap the foot onto the machine's presser-foot holder. Engage the IDT system if the machine is equipped with it.
2. For piecing, select a straight stitch and place the fabric right sides together.
3. Keep the fabric edge against the right-hand guide as you sew.
4. For guided topstitching, run the guide along a block edge or the seam ditch.

Manual foot-lift note: Avoid the extra-high lift position with this foot attached; the needle holder can touch the guide. With the needle down, raise the foot only as far as needed to turn the fabric.
