How to fit it

1. Switch the machine off and unplug it before changing the needle plate. Follow the removal and fitting procedure in your exact machine manual.
2. Compare the replacement plate with the original, including its mounting points, needle opening and markings. Stop if the plate or version does not match.
3. Fit the plate as directed by the machine manual and use only the stitch and needle-position settings approved for that plate.
4. Follow the machine manual for any clearance checks and test sewing. If the installation or plate version is uncertain, consult a sewing-machine technician.
