Brother SA448 is a square slide-on embroidery hoop with a 6 x 6 inch (150 x 150 mm) embroidery field.

The square format is sized for quilt blocks, clothing and decorative lettering. A larger hoop does not increase a machine's built-in maximum embroidery area.
