The bobbin winder tire is the small rubber ring mounted on the winder spindle that physically grips the bobbin and transfers rotation during winding. When this ring cracks, hardens with age, or wears smooth, the bobbin slips on the spindle -- producing unevenly filled bobbins or a winder that turns without engaging the bobbin at all. Swapping in a fresh tire is a quick fix that restores consistent, even winding before every sewing session. This tire measures 11/16-inch outer diameter, 13/32-inch inner diameter, and 5/32-inch thick. The listing ships two tire rings. Also sold as X55238021 and XC4076020.
