The BERNINA Old Style Even-Feed Walking Foot with Seam Guide (P60446) adds an upper set of feed dogs that grip the fabric from above, keeping every layer synchronized with the machine's lower feed dogs from the opening stitch to the last. The result is straight, even seams through thick multi-layer projects, dense wadding, and hard-to-grip materials -- and the foot handles stripes and plaids without the top layer creeping out of registration. Three interchangeable soles are included: a standard sole for general thick-fabric work, a dedicated quilting sole, and a central-guide sole for crisp edge-stitching and stitching in the ditch. The adjustable seam guide clips on and runs along a completed line of stitching, spacing each new row precisely so you can quilt repeating parallel channels and V-lines with no marking needed. Fits BERNINA Old Style (CB-hook, screw-on shank) machines -- the 700-series, 800-series, 900-series, and the full 1000-series through the 1630 generation (roughly the 707 through 1630 Swiss-made range). This Old Style foot does not fit New Style snap-on machines such as the B 710 or the modern B-series and Artista rotary-hook models; the shank geometry differs and the two styles are physically non-interchangeable.
