Piece patchwork with consistent 1/4 in or 1/8 in seam allowances. The metal #37 sole supports the fabric while its narrow underside groove leaves room for the thread.
Three evenly spaced side markings help align corners and identify the needle line for accurate stopping and pivoting. Use a centered straight stitch with this narrow-opening foot.
This Bernina-compatible replacement is for machines that accept Bernina old-style presser feet, including models 530, 700, 830, 930, 1008, 1130, 1230, 1530 and 1630. References to models 640 and 730 mean the older machines, not the Artista 640 or Artista 730.
Do not confuse this old-style #37 foot with new-style #37 or #37D feet. Those versions use a different mounting shape.
