Start Juki presser foot compatibility with the complete machine model and machine type. TL, HZL and MO are useful routes into Juki’s documentation, but they are not interchangeable foot specifications. Match the accessory to the exact model before comparing price or appearance.
| Verified example | Where to start | Compatibility question |
|---|---|---|
| TL-2010Q | Semi-professional lockstitch machine page and manual | Does this exact attachment appear for the model, with the required mounting arrangement? |
| HZL-F600 | Home sewing machine page, manual and HZL accessories list | Which ordinary or special-feed version and needle opening does the selected stitch require? |
| MO-654DE | MO-600-series overlocker documentation | Is it the correct overlocker foot and reference for the complete model suffix? |
The table separates documentation paths; it is not a family-wide parts roster. Keep the complete suffix: a listing for another MO model, or for an MO-654DEN, is not automatic evidence for the historical MO-654DE.
TL-2010Q: identify the complete attachment

Juki’s TL-2010Q specification and accessory page identifies a lockstitch machine and shows its own accessory feet. Its industrial-feature wording is not a promise that every industrial presser foot will fit. Use the model-specific optional-parts information or an exact accessory instruction to establish the mounting arrangement.
If a replacement is a complete screw-on foot, compare it with the complete original assembly. If it is only a sole, identify the holder it requires. An attractive small needle opening or a quilting label does not settle that difference.
HZL-F600: stitch width and feed version are separate

The HZL-F600 page specifies a maximum 7 mm stitch width and lists its included feet. Maximum machine width is a specification of the machine, not a safe stitch setting for every installed foot. The official accessory descriptions on that page distinguish normal and JUKI Smart Feed versions. Read the exact accessory description and conditions; do not substitute one version based on a similar front view.
MO overlockers: use the serger accessory path
Use the official MO-600-series brochure with the complete model designation and corresponding manual. A sewing-machine overcasting foot and an overlocker foot perform related edge-finishing tasks through different machines. Neither the Juki name nor a snap-on attachment proves they share a holder.
Five things to compare before buying
- Full model, including letters after the number.
- Exact accessory reference and the model-specific applicability statement.
- Complete foot versus loose sole, holder, adapter or multi-part kit.
- Needle opening, allowed stitch, needle position and any feed-system condition.
- Installation procedure and clearance with the specified needle plate. With power off, follow the manual’s handwheel check, then test slowly on scrap only when the needle clears.
Can TL and HZL feet be swapped?
Do not treat the family labels as interchangeability. Establish the exact foot-and-machine pairing first. The presser-foot mount guide explains low/high shank, screw-on and snap-on terminology; the sewing machine compatibility guide keeps bobbin and needle checks separate from the foot decision.
