For Janome MC15000 accessories, keep the complete edition name with the part reference. An accessory list may name Horizon Memory Craft 15000 V2, Horizon Quilt Maker Memory Craft 15000 or another specific version. “MC15000” alone should not erase a stated condition.
Two practical starting references are standard bobbin #102261103 and AcuFeed quarter-inch foot #202125004. Janome's accessory lists name both the V2 and Quilt Maker versions for these parts. That shared support applies to these exact items, rather than every accessory for the wider family.
Separate a sole from its feeding holder
The #202125004 quarter-inch foot is for the AcuFeed Flex Twin holder. Check that you have the required holder and read the current offer to see whether it supplies a sole or a complete assembly.
Keep the Twin-holder setup separate from the Single-holder accessories and other feeding attachments. Janome's Quilt Maker MC15000 accessory page distinguishes these components. Similar AcuFeed wording does not make them interchangeable.
Before ordering, identify the piece that is missing or damaged. A picture of an assembled foot can illustrate use without showing everything included in the offer.
The 9mm designation and allowed stitches are different checks
Janome lists a 9mm maximum stitch width for Horizon Quilt Maker Memory Craft 15000. That machine maximum is not permission to use a 9mm zigzag with every fitted accessory.
A supported quarter-inch or straight-stitch accessory may prescribe a particular needle position, foot and plate combination. Use those instructions. Likewise, a 9mm accessory label is not a measurement of seam allowance, overall foot width or guide spacing.
Bobbins: check #102261103
Janome describes #102261103 as its standard clear plastic bobbin with rubber added to the resin and a J marking. Check the exact product and full model applicability; do not translate the marking into a Singer Class 15J substitution.
The bobbin is separate from the bobbin holder. The Quilt Maker MC15000 accessory list distinguishes standard and specialized holders, including an embroidery holder. Match the component and purpose, and follow the manual rather than changing tension or holders on a generic recommendation.
Choose an accessory by the project
- Piecing: identify the exact seam-guiding foot and required holder; test the seam allowance on project scraps.
- Decorative rows: Janome lists Border Guide Foot #202084000 for the named V2 and Quilt Maker models. Keep it separate from the 5–7mm #200434003 version and its own model list.
- Free-motion quilting: check the exact foot, required plate and the machine's prescribed feed and stitch setup.
- Embroidery: match the hoop reference and complete machine edition. Nominal embroidery dimensions do not establish connector or software compatibility.
- Garments: choose the correct standard or invisible-zipper foot, hem guide or buttonhole accessory for the technique.
Needles and replacement parts
Use the needle system and permitted sizes in the exact machine manual. Choose the point for the fabric and thread, and check additional restrictions for specialty needles.
Needle plates, covers, controllers and internal components each need their own part-to-model match. Do not extend presser-foot compatibility to those parts or assume that a component for another Memory Craft edition is equivalent.
Fit and test the complete setup
Use the prescribed lockout or power-off procedure before changes. Fit the attachment as instructed; do not force it into place. Stop if the needle contacts the foot or plate. Once the setup is correct, make a sample using the intended fabric, thread and permitted stitch.
What to send when asking for help
Email Sewlume support the full model and edition, candidate reference, intended task and clear photos of the existing foot and holder. Say whether you need a replacement sole, a holder or a complete assembly. That information is more useful than a general request for a “high-shank Janome foot.”
